St. Philip Neri School offers a wide verity of extracurricular activities/programs which allow our students a well rounded school experience. Students in Grades 5 through 8 can participate in many of the activities. These activities are under the direction of Mrs. Jean Martin, the parish music minister.
Reading Olympics
Reading Olympics is celebration of reading. Teams from schools all over Montgomery County meet to answer questions about the books they have read.
Elementary Level- Grades 5 and 6
Middle School Level- Grades 7 and 8

Art Club
Meets weekly to encourage and tap artistic talent. Grades 4 through 8 are invited to participate after school.
Student Council
Student Council- The offices of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer are held by 8th grade students elected by Grades 5 through 8. These students also elect classroom representatives.
Peer Mediators
Students from Grades 4 through 8 volunteer to mediate conflicts that arise at recess. These volunteers are trained by counselors from the Intermediate Unit. Ms. Cappozzi is the moderator.
Choir
Students from Grades 5 through 8 are trained to sing at the liturgies.
Altar Servers
Boys and Girls in Grades 6 through 8 serve Sunday, weekday, wedding and funeral masses.
Scouts
Girl Scouts- Girls from Grades K through 8 meet at school in the afternoon or evenings, except Daisies (Kindergarten). Daisies meet at lunch recess.
Drama Club
Drama club is open to students in Grades 5 through 8. Director- Colleen Sutcliffe
