St. Philip Neri School Renames Computer Lab to Honor the Late Steve Petrokubi

St. Philip Neri School dedicated its computer lab in the memory of Steve Petrokubi who passed away unexpectedly last summer.  The ceremony was held in Mid January and featured a liturgy celebrated by St. Philip Neri Parish pastor Monsignor Charles P. Vance.  The St. Philip Neri student body attended the dedication mass.  A plaque commemorating the event was blessed and mounted outside the computer lab.  A private reception concluded the celebration. The dedication was a thank you for Mr. Petrokubi’s years of dedicated service to the school and parish.  He was a humble man dedicated to God and so willing to give of himself in service to others. Monsignor Richard LaHart, the former pastor of St. Philip Neri Parish, had the vision to foresee the necessity of a computer center in the school.  Mr. Petrokubi provided the leadership and dedication necessary to turn this vision into reality.
